The Respiratory Therapist will partner with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory care modalities, therapies, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and invasive and non-invasive ventilation, in accordance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Adhere to established policies, including infection control and isolation protocols, HIPAA, and social media guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining a professional demeanor and embracing opportunities for growth and development.
- Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure by the State of Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board Respiratory Care.
