Bellefaire JCB is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Social Work Intern to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and their families, providing psychotherapy, assessment consultation, and prevention services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans to prevent recurrence of crisis and stabilize clients
- Complete all required trainings and maintain accurate client records
- Collaborate with schools, social services, and other community agencies as needed
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training
- Master's student in Social Work or Counseling required
- SWT or CT licensure required
- Strong clinical skills, including training and/or classroom experience in therapy, crisis intervention, education, behavioral interventions, and substance abuse therapy
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
