About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Red Gold. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, formulating recommendations for a growing and evolving infrastructure supporting corporate, manufacturing, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage firewalls, data security systems, and network monitoring/alerting solutions to keep data and communications protected while proactively alerting on issues.
  • Identify, document, and validate compliance of network and infrastructure security best practices
  • Plan and implement new systems, upgrades and patching while adhering to best practices
  • Advise on the expansion of current infrastructure including cloud opportunities to meet the evolving demands of the business
  • Maintain infrastructure for networking, storage, and compute with focus for minimal downtime
  • Monitor infrastructure and making recommendations to improve network performance for all systems
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to IT team members
  • Recommend and implement disaster recovery procedures and solutions
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in IT Network Operations in a multi-site, enterprise environment

This is a full-time position that requires you to be in the office a couple days a week and be part of an on-call rotation. We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience.
