Meat Cutter Job Description

The Kroger Company is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cut meat to meet customer demands and comply with food safety guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized meat department, including restocking shelves and rotating inventory.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Collaborate with other meat department team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
