Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team at InLine, a leading provider of Intelligent Transportation Systems and Communication Network Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing transportation systems by integrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining intelligent transportation systems, traffic signals, and roadway lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, service, and repair electrical components of transportation systems, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Project Execution: Execute installations, including electrical and data conductors, conduits, pull boxes, poles, foundations, grounding, and surge protection systems.
  • Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and training to apprentice electricians, guiding them in complex installations and maintenance tasks.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise teams as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Promptly respond to maintenance requests and restore equipment to operational status quickly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Conduct thorough documentation of all work activities, including reports, logs, and shift communications.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to resolve advanced technical issues and conduct field tests.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Industry Certifications: Valid Journeyman Electrician Certification/Card.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading, interpreting, and implementing documents such as safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of writing clear reports and effectively presenting information to groups.
  • Physical Demands: Must possess a valid driver's license with eligibility to obtain a CDL Class A or B.
Additional Requirements
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to travel as needed and available for shifts during weekends or overtime.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to stand, sit, maneuver hands, reach, stoop, crouch, lift/move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working in various conditions including adverse weather, high-traffic areas, and confined spaces.
  • Safety Protocols: Exposure to hazards such as mechanical parts, electrical shocks, and airborne particles, with a focus on maintaining stringent safety protocols.
