Job Summary

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for operating and maintaining computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients for optimal image quality
  • Administer contrast media as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of CT technology
