Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro ICU Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Neuro ICU Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in our Neuro ICU unit, utilizing your expertise in neuroscience nursing to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patient symptoms and changes in condition, maintaining accurate and detailed records
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient conditions
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served
  • Promote hospital customer service initiatives
  • Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients
  • Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • CCRN or CNRN certification preferred
  • One year of clinical nursing experience preferred
