Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Martial Arts Instructor to join our team of experienced coaches. As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching classes to students of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced ranks. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.
Responsibilities- Teach classes to students of various skill levels, including beginners and advanced ranks.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our students.
- Oversee class check-in and basic record-keeping.
- Promote tournaments, camps, and clinics.
- Participate in paid training sessions to learn our teaching guidelines and records.
- A Black Belt in a Traditional Forms-Based Style.
- A passion for making a difference in a child's life.
- A solid technical foundation in martial arts.
- Knowledge of self-defense skills.
- Age 18 or older.
- A reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Weekday evenings, typically between 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- One to two days per week.
- $15 - $30+/hr.
- Teaching pay is based on student rate, averaging between $15-$30+/hr.
- Instructors average $300 - $400 per month, teaching just ONE day a week
