Job Description

Renewing Management Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team. As the initial point of contact for potential residents, this role is responsible for giving tours, selling the features and benefits of our community, and ensuring the highest level of customer service is met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market the community through online and traditional sources to meet occupancy goals.
  • Manage time effectively to complete daily follow-ups, including tours, phone calls, emails, and text messages.
  • Assist with unit inspections to ensure units are clean and ready for move-in.
  • Prepare and execute leases in accordance with property standards and regulations.
  • Collect application fees, security deposits, and rent payments using property management software.
  • Enter Service Requests as reported by residents.
  • Document conversations in the activity log for good record-keeping and Fair Housing compliance.
  • Monitor the use of community facilities, including laundry room, mail station, and pool.
  • Assist the Property Manager with various office and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate high-level customer service to achieve customer retention and sales goals.
  • Proven track record of successful sales.
  • Demonstrated history of time management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Professional image.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Education, Training, and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college or advanced technical training is preferred.
  • 2 years of work-related experience in property management is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
