We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Otolaryngology at our Milford, Delaware location.

Job Summary

This sign-on bonus eligible position will care for the full range of pediatric patients. The outpatient opportunity provides the successful candidate with the ability to perform a wide spectrum of care in a quiet location with private office space, experienced and friendly nurses and medical assistants and an efficient patient flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform office-based procedures under the supervision of an attending physician, including removal of cerumen and assisting with flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy.
  • Triage and respond to phone calls from referring physicians, patients and their families, allied health professionals, and insurance companies regarding patient care.
  • Perform history and physical examinations, write clinical notes, and enter patient information and prescriptions into an electronic medical records system.
  • Effectively communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and family members to consult, refer, and coordinate patient care and other service issues.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or current appropriate national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, they must hold a clear and active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Delaware or a compact state, RN licensure & Delaware APRN Licensure, and current AHA BLS certification. At least 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred.

Nemours offers a generous salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $40,000.
