Key Responsibilities

• Welcome all visitors to the office with professionalism and warmth.
• Interpret prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses provided by our optometrists.
• Inform patients about their insurance coverage and available options.
• Utilize a keen sense of style to assist patients in selecting eyewear that enhances their personal aesthetic.
• Assess daily visual needs to recommend the most suitable lenses.
• Employ optical measurement tools such as pupilometers and lensometers accurately.
• Process patient transactions efficiently using point of sale systems.
• Dispense eyewear in accordance with industry standards to foster long-term patient relationships.
• Make adjustments and repairs to eyewear as necessary.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Meet established sales targets and objectives.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• AA or BA/BS degree preferred.
• Active State Optical Licensure is required and must be maintained.
• 1-3 years of experience in optical or retail environments is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt and multitask effectively.
• Self-driven with a strong attention to detail.
• Interest in both healthcare and fashion.
• Excellent communication skills.
