We are seeking an experienced and skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join our team at Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq, P.C.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff's personal injury law, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. They will be responsible for handling a variety of personal injury cases, including auto, motorcycle, truck, and slip-and-fall accidents.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and concerns, and provide expert advice and guidance.
- Case Strategy: Develop effective strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively.
- Discovery and Depositions: Review discovery documents, determine the best course of action for each client, and take, review, and administer full depositions and oral hearings of cases witnesses and experts.
- Case Preparation: Prepare all documents required to file cases, and work closely with legal assistants and paralegals to prepare comprehensive briefs on each case that goes to trial.
- Court Appearances: Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences, based on case requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise two paralegals and work collaboratively with the team to achieve case goals.
- Education and Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience, and be licensed in NJ.
- Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in negotiating settlement with insurance carriers and resolving property damage claims, advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite, and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate tenacity, drive, and compassion, and be a team player with excellent organizational skills.
- Competitive Salary: $120,000+ per year.
