Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to fill a temporary Infection Preventionist position at Della Infotech. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction and administration to the Infectious Disease department, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention procedures in accordance with hospital, system, and regulatory agency standards.
  • Develop, review, and revise policies and procedures based on evidence-based practice to protect patient, staff, and community health and safety.
  • Facilitate a comprehensive surveillance, prevention, and control program to ensure quality care related to nosocomial infections.
  • Develop and support a system for regular collection, analysis, and dissemination of surveillance data.
  • Provide educational programs and serve as a resource to hospital personnel on infection prevention and control procedures.
Requirements
  • Current MI RN license
  • 2 years' experience in infection prevention or a related field
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) highly preferred

Please note that this is a temporary position with no weekend or on-call requirements.
