About the Position
Kessler, Mississippi is home to our Military Treatment Facilities under DHA. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our team. Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $225,000 - $325,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced physician with expertise in obstetrics and gynecology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include evaluating laboratory and clinical findings, providing treatment and follow-up care, performing surgical procedures as a primary surgeon, and assisting in the operating room under minimal supervision. Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in didactic and clinical teaching of students rotating in the OB/GYN clinic, exercise consultative responsibility in specialty areas of OB/GYN to other specialties within the hospital, and evaluate functional and dysfunctional problems related to the female pelvis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must have provided education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Applicants must also possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Furthermore, candidates must have successfully completed the required accredited residency training in the specialty of the position to be filled (Obstetrics/Gynecology) and equivalent experience and training equal to at least 4 years. Basic Life Support certification through the American Red Cross, Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification are also required.
