Position Overview:
As a Cytology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering precise diagnoses for both gynecologic and non-gynecologic conditions. We seek skilled professionals dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct microscopic evaluations and diagnoses of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides to identify infectious, pre-malignant, and malignant conditions.
  • Ensure adherence to CLIA standards, including thorough documentation of interpretations and preservation of specimen integrity.
  • Input and communicate results within the laboratory information system while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
  • Comply with all local, federal, CLIA, and CAP regulations to uphold quality assurance standards.
  • Engage in annual proficiency-testing programs to foster ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, physical science, or biological science.
  • Fulfill CLIA and ASCP criteria for Cytotechnologist.
  • Possess state licensure for Cytotechnologist.
  • Preferred: Certification in liquid-based cytology.

Employment Type:

Compensation:
$60.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
