We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at InPwr, Inc. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in ensuring the successful execution of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including job start-up, pre-qualifications, and job closeout documents.
- Organize and maintain SharePoint regarding job folders, ensuring timely access to critical project information.
- Research and identify vendors in the area to perform work, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Develop and maintain project team lists, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
- Support the Project Manager with all items required by the Superintendent/Foreman, including official InPwr field forms.
- Assist with closing punch lists and provide general support to the Project Manager as directed.
- Participate in special projects as required and create/maintain all project O&M manuals.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Project Manager to review project progress and discuss any concerns.
- Perform literary reviews of documents and correspondence, including project update reports, proposals, and requests for information.
- Maintain heavy equipment and rentals on projects, ensuring timely delivery and maintenance.
- Document WIP (Work-In-Progress) to the Project Manager at the end of each month.
- Support the Project Manager in WIP input and assist with project coordination, including permit pulling, meeting agendas, and daily logs.
- Review project logs and execute administrative actions as required.
- Manage project subcontracts and change orders, serving as a liaison between vendors and InPwr.
- Maintain and verify reports on a weekly basis, including job cost status summaries, aged payables reports, PO status reports, and job overview.
- Identify and address potential change requests for potential change orders.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Positive attitude, team player, and leader with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in office software and project management tools.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
