Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

Milo's Tea Company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of finished products from production to storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and submit required paperwork.
• Ensure proper rotation of product is loaded using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) system.
• Operate powered or manual low-lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and ensure they meet SQF guidelines.
• Verify all paperwork is completed for pre- and post-shift activities.
• Log finished products in inventory when placed on cooler racks.
• Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized according to SSO guidelines.
• Utilize dock locks when loading trucks.
• Charge forklifts before leaving for the day.
• Inspect loading equipment for defects and report deficiencies to management.
• Verify trailers meet the required temperature of 36 degrees before loading product.
• Distribute product donations as requested.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
• Invest in and exemplify Milo's Responsibility commitment, encompassing environmental, social, and corporate governance components.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
• Valid driver's license and forklift and electric pallet jack certification required upon job placement.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in environments with moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and occasional exposure to extreme cold.
