We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overnight Custodian to join our team at Reata Glen. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Floor Maintenance: Maintain floors, mats, and carpets within the community, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Trash and Recycling: Pick up and remove trash and recycling from trash rooms, offices, and other locations within the community.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean all public areas, including window cleaning, pressure washing entrances and sidewalks, and maintaining bathroom facilities.
- Maintenance and Repair: Provide preventive maintenance to housekeeping machines, such as vacuums, carpet shampooers, and floor machines.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain all grounds, including golf courses, tennis courts, and landscaping.
- Resident Support: Assist residents with reasonable complaints and requests, and notify supervisors of any damages or disturbances.
- Teamwork: Assist other co-workers as assigned, and participate in daily shift kick-off meetings and stretches.
- Previous Experience: Previous janitorial experience is strongly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Physical Demands: Ability to drive utility vehicles safely, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Legally Authorized: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
