As a Respiratory Therapist at Medical City Weatherford, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating respiratory therapy services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in respiratory therapy or a related field.
  • A state registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
