Propper International Sales is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in our Tennessee Distribution Center.
This is a full-time position with a competitive wage and benefits package, including medical, vision, dental insurance, 401K, paid time off, and holiday pay.
The successful candidate will be responsible for picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc., updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved, and managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of warehouse and/or manufacturing organization experience, with motorized order picker, cherry picker, or forklift experience preferred.
We are looking for a team player with excellent attention to detail, great self-independence and motivation, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
- Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved
- Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage
- Utilizing a vehicle-mounted computer and handheld scanner
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner
- In-depth knowledge of industry safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and transfer them repetitively
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb stairs for an a minimum of 8 hours
- Great team spirit
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great self-independence and motivation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education / Knowledge / Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse and/or manufacturing organization preferred
- Motorized order picker, cherry picker, or forklift experience preferred
- High school diploma
