Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Stephens County Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit.

• Verifying physician orders and performing procedures
• Documenting patient information in medical records and department logs
• Maintaining equipment and performing routine maintenance procedures
• Providing patient education and instruction on respiratory procedures
• Responding to emergency calls and assessing pulmonary/ventilator status

• 2 years of experience in critical care, ER, and Med/Surg
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Georgia
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligible and actively pursuing registry

This is a physically demanding, high-stress environment that requires the ability to lift 10 pounds or more. You must be able to sit or stand for up to 2-6 hours at a time.
