Position Summary:
The Quality Supports Facilitator (QSF) is responsible for overseeing the quality of services provided in 4-5 residential settings while directly managing Community Support Supervisors (CSS) and Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
The QSF ensures that all operations comply with the standards set by the agency, as well as the regulatory requirements from relevant authorities. This role involves coaching, training, and mentoring team members to deliver exceptional, person-centered support while upholding the core values of the agency.
Leadership Responsibilities:- Aligns actions with the agency's mission and values in all interactions.
- Ensures compliance with agency policies and specific program protocols.
- Empowers team members to maintain high standards of service.
- Collaborates effectively with CSS, LDSPs, and DSPs to enhance person-centered support.
- Facilitates the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Provides comprehensive training for CSS and LDSP roles.
- Participates in the recruitment process for new team members.
- Responds to team communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Engages in meetings, contributing valuable insights while ensuring compliance with agency and union guidelines.
- Monitors operational processes, oversees system utilization, and generates reports for accuracy.
- Encourages meaningful engagement in activities and advocates for individual needs.
- Promotes person-centered practices and proactively addresses service requirements.
- Serves as the primary contact for emergencies outside of regular operational hours.
- Facilitates community involvement for individuals supported, fostering relationship-building.
- Ensures adherence to various standards while positively representing the agency within the community.
The QSF must embody the agency's mission and values, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities while providing guidance and training to team members. Adaptability, independence, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this role.
Educational and Certification Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License.
- Certification/Licensure: Completion of required background checks.
- Prior experience in Direct Support roles.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, lifting, carrying, walking, and driving.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and other specified requirements.
Hourly rate of $24.50.
