Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

The Cath Lab Technologist plays a vital role in the cardiac catheterization lab, providing essential support in various procedures and ensuring optimal patient care.
Certification Requirements:
Prior to commencing the role, candidates must possess certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC. Specific certification details can be accessed through the designated internal platform.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Four 9 or 10-hour shifts per week (36 or 40 hours)
- On-call responsibilities: 10 shifts per month, with at least 3 on weekends (24-hour coverage)
- Local rate and shift times will be provided upon request.
- Scrubs will be provided in blue color.
- Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required.
- Essential certifications include BLS and ACLS.
- Required skills: Scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, and experience with cardiac catheterization procedures.
Schedule Information:
- Four 9 or 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call: 10 shifts per month, with 3 on weekends
- Typical shift hours: 0700-1630
Unit Specific Information:
- Interventional Radiology coverage is necessary.
- Familiarity with Cerner, Phillips, and Siemens angiography equipment is preferred.
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures is advantageous.
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of clinical experience within the last 3 years.

- Completion of Association Specific Attestation is required upon hire.
