Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to join our team in Illinois for a locum tenens opportunity. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 24-hour call coverage on weekends. We are looking for full-time engagement and are open to multiple providers to fulfill the role.
Electronic Medical Records:
The practice utilizes EPIC for patient management.
Patient Load:
- Average Office/Clinic Patients per Day: 20
- Average Hospital-Based Patients per Day: 12
- Total Physicians in the Group: 13
- Daily Patient Volume: 15
- Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center
Essential Procedures:
The following procedures are required for this position: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion and Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube, Capsule Deployment, Bravo, PH Impedance, Breath Test Interpretation, Esophageal and Anorectal Manometry Interpretation, and Endoflip.
Credentialing:
The estimated timeframe for credentialing is approximately three months.
