Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wax Assembler to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a Wax Assembler, you will be responsible for producing high-quality wax assemblies using various techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Clean and Prepare Wax Patterns**: Clean wax patterns to quality standards using various waxes and tools.
  • **Assemble Wax Components**: Assemble wax patterns and gating components using a variety of waxes and tools.
  • **Inspect and Document Assemblies**: Inspect assemblies during and after the assembly process for defects and document assembly completion forms and time sheets.
  • **Maintain Quality and Productivity**: Maintain quality and productivity levels/standards and perform general cleaning of assembly area equipment and tools.
  • **Collaborate with Team Members**: Cross inspect assemblies documenting defects and providing feedback to other assemblers and aide in the training of techniques and procedures to other assemblers as needed.
  • **Adhere to Safety Protocols**: Adhere to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, and identify and report safety issues.
Requirements
  • **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • **Experience**: Previous experience in wax preferred; however, on the job training is provided.
  • **Skills**: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, ability to learn and follow safety policies and procedures, ability to work with hands and possess good eye-hand coordination skills, and ability to see fine detail using inspection lights and mirrors.
