Job Summary:

This Diesel Mechanic Lead role is a vital position within the US Foods, Inc. team, responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

We offer a competitive salary of $32 per hour, plus a $10,000 retention bonus, annual tool allowance, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards.
  • Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience.
  • Or 2 years of diesel mechanic experience with TK or Refrigeration certification.
What We Offer:
  • A flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
  • The ability to work overtime when needed.
