SUMMARY
This role collaborates with the Events & Scheduling Specialists to act as a host for events not sponsored by the College, taking place at KCKCC campus locations.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
  • Uphold and represent the standards, guidelines, and general practices of Events and Scheduling as directed by the supervisor.
  • Engage with clients to address their needs within the framework of the rental agreement during events.
  • Serve as a primary contact for inquiries throughout events.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in customer service or hospitality industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Positive demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers, as well as community members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
In the execution of this role, the employee frequently stands, talks, hears, walks, and sits. Occasionally, the employee may need to push or lift items.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally responsible for setting up and relocating chairs, tables, podiums, etc.
  • Able to hear instructions in a low-volume environment.
  • Ability to see in low-light conditions.
WORK SCHEDULE
Hours will vary between 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM CT based on the specific event. Flexibility to work a variable schedule is required to meet operational needs, including evenings and weekends.
