Job Overview

Position Title: Traveling CT Imaging Specialist

Location: Keene, NH

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Open to Local and Traveling Candidates

Compensation: Local - $2900 to Traveling - $3000 weekly

Department: Imaging Services

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Days, 5 days per week

Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend and holiday coverage

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist is required.
  • Experience in Imaging is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm is essential.
  • Experience with patients of all age groups is required.
  • Prior travel experience is preferred.
  • Experience in surgical settings and mobile C-arm operation is necessary.
  • Travel/contract experience is highly preferred.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT Certification is mandatory.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC is required.
  • Active or eligible NH License in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Position patients on the examination table and adjust immobilization devices to ensure optimal imaging of the specified body area as requested by the physician.
  • Capable of performing all routine diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Adjust radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
  • Operate film processing equipment efficiently.
  • Utilize mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings including operating rooms and at the patient's bedside.
