  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
    • Ensure that facilities and real estate transactions comply with healthcare regulations, zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Sustainability Initiatives:
    • Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote energy efficiency across healthcare facilities.
    • Implement green building practices, waste reduction strategies, and renewable energy solutions to support environmental stewardship.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of facilities managers, real estate professionals, and campus planners.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to achieve departmental goals.
  • Project Development and Management:
    • Oversee all Life Safety and Regulatory processes to all contractors and vendors.
    • Manage and evaluate construction-related bids and make recommendations for contract awards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Director of Facilities in a healthcare or industrial organization.
  • OR an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, LEED AP, PMP) are desirable.
