We prioritize candidates with experience in using gait belts, Hoyer Lifts, bathing and dressing, peri-care, meal preparation, safety oversight and companionship. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance are required for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, skin care, mouth care, and hair care, while educating them and their families on meeting these needs.
  • Provide physical support for client transfers, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the client care plan.
  • Assist clients with prescribed exercises that they have been taught by professional personnel.
  • Change bed linen and assist with laundry as needed.
  • Clear clutter from the client's path and room to ensure maximum safety.
  • Prepare light meals during visit times.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment in proper condition.
  • Assist clients with self-administered medications (open bottles, get water).
  • Apply non-prescription topical ointments/lotions to unbroken skin at the client's direction.

**Competitive Salary:** $15-$18 per hour, based on experience.
