The Materials Handler II is a key member of our warehouse team, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory throughout our facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for use in our Clean Room environment, including parts cleaning, labeling, and other tasks as required.
- Inventory Management: Perform all activities associated with the posting and completion of manual and electronic records, ensuring accurate inventory balances and compliant material moves between departments.
- Kitting and Distribution: Kitting material to production work orders, and distributing materials to various stocking locations throughout the facility.
- Stockroom Organization: Maintain a well-organized stockroom and PTO material process, ensuring easy access to materials and minimizing waste.
- Cycle Counts: Perform daily cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Entry-level position, ideally 1 year in a stockroom or warehouse environment. Medical device experience preferred.
- Skills: Ability to use a computer using various office tools, basic math skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
- Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs with assistance.
