Lead Firefighter

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Firefighter to join our team in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract. As a key member of our fire department, you will be responsible for leading firefighting efforts, directing crew members, and ensuring the safe arrival of personnel and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Firefighting Operations: Respond to and direct firefighting efforts, including structural and aircraft firefighting, first aid, and other fire department-related activities.
- Crew Management: Direct and supervise crew members, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain fire vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to ensure crew proficiency and certification.
- 14 months of certified FES Driver/Operator experience
- 3 years of Fire Service experience
- Firefighter I and II certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Fire Instructor certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Fire Inspector certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Hazardous Materials Operations with Mission Specific Competency (MSC), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Product Control (PC) certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements
- Incident Safety Officer certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board), within 6 months of hire
- Airport firefighter certification, accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board), and National Registry and Oklahoma state Emergency Medical Responder or National Registry and Oklahoma State Emergency Medical Technician, within 12 months of hire
