Role Description:
The Staff Nurse, RN is responsible for delivering professional nursing care by utilizing nursing skills and processes to formulate, implement, and assess patient care plans. This role is pivotal in fostering an environment that aligns with our mission to care, heal, and educate. As the primary caregiver, the Staff Nurse, RN will provide direct patient care and collaborate with other healthcare team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
The incumbent will have access to confidential patient information and will make independent decisions while also collaborating with others. The Staff Nurse, RN operates under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Additional Responsibilities:
The selected candidates may be required to float to similar units and could be asked to assist at other facilities within the network. Travelers will float to units with similar or lower acuity levels than their primary assignment. Weekend shifts will be required.
Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS
Position Urgency: Normal
Shifts: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM
State License: Must be currently active
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Sub Specialty: Med-surg Adult, Registered Nurse
General Certifications: BLS/BCLS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
