Job Summary:

As an Addiction Medicine Therapist, you will provide comprehensive chemical dependency services and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and families under indirect supervision. This role requires a strong understanding of addiction medicine and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide chemical dependency services and psychotherapy to patients and their families
  • Develop and present treatment plans to the treatment team for recommendations and approval
  • Conduct chemical dependency focused educational lectures and provide general chemical dependency counseling
  • Participate in clinical case conferences and provide case management services
  • Mentor and supervise junior therapists and students
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in addiction medicine therapy
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adolescents and families
  • Knowledge of addiction medicine and treatment modalities
