Job Summary

As a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of automotive, ramp, provisioning, and deicing equipment. This is a union-based role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair various types of equipment, including automotive, ramp, provisioning, and deicing equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance on all airline ground equipment
  • Attend initial and ongoing training to stay current on knowledge, information, and equipment
  • Create and track work orders in a timely manner using our maintenance tracking program
  • Wear a Company visual identification card and maintain a well-groomed appearance
  • Meet physical ability requirements and work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or automotive/equipment repair technical degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of heavy truck and/or equipment repair experience, with or without a technical degree
  • ASE and A/C Certification preferred; must possess and maintain a valid state motor vehicle operator's license
  • Ability to work in a confined space, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently
