Position OverviewWe are seeking a psychiatrist to join our team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) on the short-stay inpatient unit at the HUP Cedar Campus. This opportunity is part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality mental health care to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Treat up to 12 patients per day on the short-stay inpatient unit
- Work closely with a psychiatric APP, nurses, behavioral health techs, and a social worker to provide comprehensive care
- Collaborate with a dedicated medical APP for medical co-management and consulting physician specialists
- Participate in a team-oriented environment that prioritizes patient care and well-being
- Board certified/eligible PA medical license in psychiatry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
