Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ashtabula County Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient screenings, histories, and preparations to ensure safe and effective imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and any notable findings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Two years of clinical experience as a staff technologist, with a preference for experience in MRI.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year from date of hire.
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio.
