We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and lab results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and unit operations.
- Current Oregon RN license.
- 1 year of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
