Med Surg Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Med Surg Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

This is a 36-bed high acuity unit that cares for a variety of surgical patients, including those undergoing general surgery, gastrointestinal, head/neck, and vascular procedures. As a Med Surg Nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in post-op care, recovery, and nursing skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees
