Parkridge East Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Extern to join our PRN Float Pool team. As a Nurse Extern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
- Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
- Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
- Can be considered for Nurse Extern after completion of first nursing semester or CNA in first semester of RN program.
Requirements:
