We are seeking a dedicated Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director at Tutera, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs and interests of our residents.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement resident-centered activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure activities align with resident care plans.
- Create engaging and inclusive programs that promote socialization, education, and recreation.
- Manage and maintain activity supplies, equipment, and resources.
- Evaluate and improve activity programs based on resident feedback and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
- Certification as a Certified Activities Director (CAD) or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience as an Activities Director in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility/Assisted Living/Memory Care setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Possess a professional image in both appearance and behavior.
