Plumbing Professor

Ranken Technical College is seeking a skilled Plumbing Instructor to join our team. As a Plumbing Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing and teaching Plumbing Technology courses, conducting labs, and supervising students.

1. Teaching and Lab Supervision: Teach assigned theory and lab classes, plan daily activities for students, and supervise students for both theory and technical project grades.
2. Instruction and Evaluation: Instruct and evaluate students in plumbing technology courses, including instruction in shop safety.
3. Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a safe worksite and enforce Ranken's safety standards, assist in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.
4. Curriculum Development: Assist management with developing curriculum and syllabi, scheduling, budgeting, hiring, and other duties.
5. College Governance: Participate in college governance, committee work, student advising, and other related activities.
6. Professional Development: Participate in available training to keep current in Plumbing Technology and assist in maintaining requirements of industry standards.
