Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cardiac cath procedures and experience working in a cardiac cath, vascular, or special procedures environment.

The successful candidate will be able to scrub with physicians during procedures, perform hemodynamic monitoring, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform holter scanning, including application and instruction for all patients.
  • Assure provision and coordination of pacemaker services, including transtelephonic pacemaker checks, and pacemaker interrogations.
  • Accurately perform 12 lead EKGs.
  • Efficiently apply a Holter Monitor.
  • Accurately perform stress testing when required by staffing needs.
  • Assist with any duty necessary within the CPN Services Dept.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Cardiac Cath Procedures.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath.
  • Angioplasty experience is a plus.
  • Current certifications in (R)RT, BCLS, ACLS, and IABP.
