Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients.
  • Prescribe and implement a treatment program which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to maximize patient and team outcomes.
  • Promote improvement in service, department, and hospital systems to benefit patient care.
  • Incorporate and operationalize the goals and objectives of the organization.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program.
  • Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
  • Certified Hand therapist (CHT) preferred.
  • AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.
  • 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred.
  • Some outpatient experience with hands required.
