Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at City Market. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Process cash transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
• Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide information on products and services.
• Count, measure, and prepare medications, devices, and supplies according to company protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, ordering, and stocking of medications and supplies.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, reporting any suspicious activity or concerns to management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Meet minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related field.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management, and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
