As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will engage in a comprehensive range of quality assessment activities on products, materials, and components throughout various phases of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality and reliability benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts diverse quality control evaluations and inspections to confirm compliance with established standards.
- Documents and interprets data, generating summaries and reports to validate or highlight discrepancies from current standards.
- Collaborates closely with management to uphold ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.
- Proposes enhancements to existing standards, methods, and procedures, or suggests new approaches.
- Maintains accurate records related to quality assurance evaluations and inspections.
- Facilitates quality training sessions.
- Mentors and guides team members in quality enhancement initiatives.
- Participates in special projects as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Electrical Cableway is advantageous.
- Professional, technical, or company certifications may be required based on job responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Welder Qualification is a plus.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Requirements:
Years of Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Travel Requirements: 10-25%
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required
Salary and Benefits:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is approximately $34.50. However, this is not a guaranteed compensation figure. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potential contractual obligations, and may vary from this range.
