Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients in achieving their optimal physical well-being.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent complications.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Current licensure or certification in the state of VA.
- Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
- At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
