Facility: A center dedicated to providing confidential support for Veterans, service members, and their families at no charge in a non-clinical environment.

Opportunity:
  • Ongoing need on a PRN basis
  • Board Certification required in one of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Evaluations are primarily interview-based, supplemented by physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing, with a focus on traumatic brain injury. The evaluations will encompass both General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
  • DMA certification is available (CME credits can be earned) and must be obtained once privileged if not already certified
  • Proficiency in the use of a Goniometer is necessary
  • Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular conditions is required
  • Expertise in METs testing and the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is essential.
  • Evaluations must be documented in the provider portal, with records subject to review.
  • One provider is needed for this role.
