Del-Air Heating, Air Conditioning, Electrical, and Plumbing is seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Review electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits.
- Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers.
- Coordinate with team members to install light fixtures and other items.
- Use industry-specific tools, such as ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers.
- Identify electrical wires accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and truck.
- Maintain accurate invoices, records, and notes.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical service and troubleshooting.
- Obtaining a FL Journeyman electrician license is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the trade.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Available to work on-call and respond immediately to electrical emergencies.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
