Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cath lab procedures and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
  • Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
  • Active ARRT certification and BLS/ACLS certification
  • Experience with fluoroscopy and imaging systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Work Environment
  • 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
  • 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Every other weekend, weekend call is also every 6th weekend
  • 1-2 days of unit orientation
Unit Specific Information
  • EOW, first to float
  • No floating required
  • Cerner experience required
  • All MyJourney modules must be completed prior to arrival
